This syllabus correlates with the virtual symposium dedicated to the Black feminist scholarship of Jacqueline Jones Royster. Our syllabus, alongside the symposium, traces Black Feminist/Critical Race literacies, rhetorics, and pedagogies as new geographies for our worlds.
We are offering up the themes of the course here as a public space of learning and thinking about Black Feminist/Critical Race literacies, rhetorics, and pedagogies. Click on any listed theme on this page and you will find a correlating webpage that provides an overview as well as list of readings. For writing assignments, assessment philosophies, and teaching approaches, see the full syllabus zine below. For classroom activities, follow along here.
